With 256k in chips, i'm in 17th place after 2a. 2b plays today and Sunday is off day. So I should be in top 40 heading into Day 3. I expect we'll make the money sometime on Day 4 - Tuesday - Matthew Hilger

 From 90k in chips this morning to 250k before the lasty break of the day in the Main Event.

Matthew's not on the chip count, which hopefully is keeping eyes off him while he moves up. (This put Matthew around 11th with less than an hour to play in day 2A)

I just finished reviewing Advanced Pot-Limit Omaha Volume II: LAG Play and Jeff is planning on sending me the manuscript this week for APLO III: The Short-Handed Workbook. We'll be releasing both together, probably with a September release date. Every fan of Jeff is going to really like Volume II which I think will help all players add additional tools to their arsenals to take their games to a new level.

Peak Performance Poker by Travis Steffen is complete and will hit stores in 6-8 weeks. One reviewer "Call me crazy, but this might be one of the best poker books ever".
